We are preparing to replace 27 traffic light controllers at important intersections in Brno for Brněnské komunikace a.s. This is another of the projects we are implementing for this city. Among them was also, for example, the C-Roads project, where V2X systems connected Brno traffic lights with the surrounding infrastructure and traffic.
In the coming months, we are replacing the old CROSS RS 2 and RS 3 traffic light controllers with the new ones, light sources in traffic lights with modern LED sources. Subsequently, we will connect the intersections to the city’s urban traffic management center.

The project, which components are currently being prepared for in our Zlín workshops, must be completed at 9 intersections within 180 days of the handover of the construction sites. In addition, each intersection can be out of service for a maximum of 60 hours, which is necessary for the installation and setup of controllers and other parts of the order.
The project will take place within the contract Traffic Management and Traffic Data Collection, Stage 4, II. part for the Statutory City of Brno. We are currently clarifying the technical details together with the technicians of Brněnské komunikace a.s., we are manufacturing controllers and assembling, in Zlín, material for individual intersections, so that the installation can take place quickly and smoothly, without major traffic restrictions.
