UTILCELL, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of load cells, mounting accessories and weighing electronics, has announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters and production facilities to a new site in the Barcelona metropolitan area. This strategic move will enable the company to support its future growth and strengthen its long-term development.

With more than 45 years of experience and an international presence in over 90 countries, UTILCELL continues to reinforce its commitment to innovation, industrial digitalization, and the continuous improvement of its processes and services.

The new facilities, located in Barberà del Vallès, just 20 kilometres from the centre of Barcelona, offer 12,500 m² of usable floor space within a private complex featuring on-site parking and modern, purpose-designed facilities aimed at enhancing both manufacturing operations and the working environment.

This relocation reflects the company’s need to continue growing in facilities that are better suited to its current and future requirements. The new site provides more space, greater efficiency and the infrastructure needed to meet the technological and industrial challenges of the years ahead. The Machining, R&D and Metrology Laboratory departments have already moved into the new facilities, marking the beginning of a gradual transition that will continue throughout 2026.

The new plant will significantly expand the company’s manufacturing capacity, particularly in the areas of machining, production and electronics, while also increasing finished goods inventory to provide greater product availability and flexibility for customers and distributors worldwide.

These operational and logistics improvements will enable UTILCELL to shorten delivery times and further enhance the quality of service provided to its customers, strengthening a more agile organization capable of responding even more efficiently to the demands of the global market.
