Transaction Strengthens Presence Across Midwest

Kanawha Scales & Systems (“KSS” or “the Company”), a leading provider of mission-critical calibration, maintenance, and repair services for complex industrial weighing systems and automated control solutions, today announced that it has acquired Strack Scale Service, a scale calibration and service company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Strack Scale Service brings a tenured team of skilled service technicians and a well-established customer base to the KSS platform, serving manufacturers and industrial operations across the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana tri-state region. The company provides scale calibration, installation, and maintenance services across a broad range of industries. Strack Scale Service will continue to operate under its existing brand name, and President Christopher Geers Jr. will remain with the business in an executive capacity following the close of the transaction.

This acquisition brings KSS to 28 branches nationwide as the Company continues its strategy of partnering with high-quality, independently operated scale service businesses across the United States.
