HBK – Hottinger Brüel & Kjaer (Spain) – Quality control equipment specialist, Hoytom has boosted its capabilities by integrating a range of load cells into its machines, which ensure maximum accuracy throughout its measurement process.

The Spanish based company manufactures quality control machines, testing equipment and provides calibration services on customer sites, issuing the appropriate certificates on the condition of the machines, including all ranges of force, stress, strain and hardness.

To make sure its machines provided accurate results, Hoytom integrated load cells, supplied by measurement expert Hottinger Brüel & Kjær (HBK) into its test machines to guarantee the validity of the resulting data.

HBK’s load cells, especially the HBM U10M, significantly enhances Hoytom’s offering, as they perform with the highest accuracy across the entire measurement ranges. This has reduced labour time, disruption and improved the image of Hoytom’s equipment in the market.

The new level of quality allows Hoytom to operate in international markets and export 50% of its machines. In addition, Hoytom test equipment can operate with HBM cells according to the relevant international standard in class 05 and offers a wider measurement range, which is increasingly in demand by testing companies.
