FUTEK Releases New Sub-Miniature In-line Load Cell

FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology, Inc. (United States) – FUTEK announces the release of their LCM100 Subminiature In Line Load Cell. The sub-miniature footprint of the LCM100 brings increased diversity to the already wide range of in line load cells in FUTEK’s LCM series.

The sub-compact construction of the LCM100 is made possible through its diaphragm design. Coupled with 17-4 PH stainless steel construction, allows the LCM100 to be manufactured in a wide range of capacities from 1000 g to 25 lb. In keeping with its small size, the LCM100 features male, M3x0.5 threads on both sides, allowing it to thread into systems and have a minimal mounting clearance of 0.17 in.[4.2mm].

FUTEK did not sacrifice accuracy or performance with the miniature design of the LCM100, featuring a ± 0.5% Nonlinearity, ± 0.5% Hysteresis, and ± 0.1% Nonrepeatability with metal foil strain gauges in both tension and compression. For high sample rate applications, the LCM100 series sports natural frequencies from 19 kHz to 42 kHz.
