Golden lotus-DCS and Weighbridge Upgrade for Remote WA Mine by AccuWeigh

Accuweigh Pty Ltd. (Australia) – AccuWeigh’s Perth branch has completed the upgrade of an existing weighbridge for a remote mine site in the state’s South East. The upgrade included the supply and installation of a new driver control station (DCS) utilising the IT8000E Intelligent Weighing Terminal with DCS data collection and reporting software.

The DCS also features a large format ticket printer inside the DCS enclosure. The printer provides the necessary axle group mass information to the driver to ensure compliance with the Main Roads WA sanctioned Extra Mass permit scheme. This upgrade along with the replacement of two faulty loadcells, two new junction boxes and the mandatory calibration and re-verification enabled the current weighbridge to meet the Trade Measurement legislation and Main Roads requirements.

Owners of existing weighbridges should make initial enquiries with AccuWeigh to explore and consider what additional weighbridge peripheral equipment is available to upgrade and enhance the operation of their weighbridge and thus generate site efficiencies and savings.
